EBT in the news

In September, EBT founder Philip Holmes spoke with The Times, which was among the international media reacting to a worldwide news release by Nepal's Central Child Welfare Board - which was based on information we uncovered in our seminal research into the trafficking of Nepali children into Indian circuses.

While the Central Child Welfare Board's report was built on evidence we published in 2002, it still helped to raise the issue of child trafficking to circuses.

We are constantly striving to increase the world's awareness of the plight of these children - and of our efforts to tackle the trafficking trade. This exposure can only be a good thing as we seek to rescue more children from circuses in the coming weeks.
