A Fitting Tribute

Santosh (pictured) and our other budding young cricketers are blissfully unaffected by turmoil such as the one which engulfed the England cricket team at the end of 2008.

 

While the English game was busy imploding from the top, our children served up a game of cricket as it should be – entertaining and good fun – to mark The Kumar Cup, an annual celebration of the life of one of our former children who sadly died four years ago after a short illness.

 

Cricket was one of Kumar’s passions so it felt fitting to dedicate a day of sports activities in his memory. Football and volleyball (bottom left) competitions were also staged as all of the children in our care came together to honour the occasion.  .
