Kumar Cup 2011
The Kumar Cup is our annual celebration of the life of one of our former children who sadly died after contracting cerebral malaria in January 2005.
This year the tournament's focus was football - one of Kumar’s passions - and as you can see from the picture, left, the children were testing out their goal celebrations in front of the cameras.
Many of the children at the Godawari refuge remember Kumar, so the day has added significance for them as they celebrate the life of their friend.
