Table tennis is very popular among many of the children in our refuges - as any of you who are child sponsors will no doubt have read.

November has seen Jithang Rai and Bikki Gurung start their training at the Nepal Table Tennis Traning Centre located at Lainchour. Their coach, Mr. Rajendra Kapali, says both boys are already doing very well.

Bicky (top) was one of 29 children we rescued from a circus in 2004, while Jithang (bottom) was actually conceived in Bhojpur jail.

The table tennis sessions are part of our overall commitment to offer children in our refuges access to a range of stimulating activities to help them rebuild their lives.
