From 7th - 16th February 2007
three of our supporters (pictured left) trekked in the stunning Annapurna conservation region
of Nepal. They have raised over £9,000 to date, with more money still coming in!
Nepal is a land that seems to hold an allure for people who haven't even been there but
once visited, there's no escape from the grasp that it places on the senses. And no part
of Nepal makes greater impact than the awesome beauty of the mountains that seem to preside
so timelessly over the communities that lie at their feet.
Here are a few comments from our supporters following the challenge:
"Phenomenal. We happened to encounter historically bad weather, but the trek leaders and guides managed us perfectly.
Service was incredibly attentive by all staff; food was excellent. Scenery was breathtaking." (John Sosbee)
"It was the most satisfying thing I have done in my life to date, in probably the most awe-inspiring scenery on the planet." (Tim Lewis)
