'NAMASTE, UK!'
Himalayan Mosaics - the not-for-profit company established by EBT
founder Philip Holmes to offer job security to the victims of child
trafficking - successfully showcased some of the artists' latest
creations at a special exhibition held in conjunction with Namaste-UK.
The event in Skipton, North Yorkshire, on December 4th was arranged
following a visit by Namaste director Sam Brummit to see Philip
and the mosaic studio in Kathmandu. Philip attended the exhibition
to talk to visitors about The Esther Benjamins Trust's work, and
how the creation of Himalayan Mosaics will play a crucial role in
the rehabilitation of the child trafficking victims we rescue.
Mosaics are produced to commission and as limited edition works on themes such as Nepalese culture,
wildlife, children's names, and football club badges - with individual commissions ranging
from a Ferrari to Dennis the Menace.
