What We Do
Children's refuge care and rehabilitation
We provide for the full time residential care, education and training of 120 highly vulnerable children at two centres, Hetauda and Kathmandu (Godawari).
Rescue of children from India
We lead the way in the rescue of trafficked and displaced Nepali children from India.
Community work
We support schools in three regions – Godawari, Makwanpur (south Nepal) and Rupendehi (southwest Nepal). In Rupendehi this includes support to a school for deaf children in Bhairahawa and one for urban slum children in Butwal. We also host medical camps in Makwanpur.
Arts & Crafts
Training in the arts and crafts are central to the work of the Trust in Nepal. Our vocational courses provide an income to refuge leavers, trafficking survivors and to deaf young people, while being highly therapeutic and cathartic to those who have been victims of abuse and exploitation.
Performance
Training in arts has extended to the performing arts - with astonishing results including Nepal's first contemporary circus company.
