What You Can Do
The EBT Network of Speakers

The Network of Speakers is a volunteer-led initiative that helps The Esther Benjamins Trust to raise its profile in communities across the UK.
It was launched in September 2009 at the University of Hertfordshire. EBT supporters, staff and trustees (pictured above) came together for a training day to plan the network and offer their input. Since then, the volunteers have coordinated the group and helped it to grow - we are already planning a second national training day in March at which a further 20 prospective Speakers will hopefully join us.
The idea of the network is to enable Speakers to visit various social groups on our behalf to make a short presentation on the charity's work. Speakers can respond to specific requests from interested groups and also arrange presentations with schools, clubs, church groups and so forth of their own volition.
There is no minimum amount of involvement expected - we just appreciate people using any spare time they have to help bring our work in Nepal to a wider audience.
Details of the geographical coverage we already have can be found on our Network of Speakers Google Map.
