What You Can Do
Volunteer - UK

If you are resident in the UK and feel you can commit some of your spare time to The Esther Benjamins Trust, we would love to hear from you. Our two full-time staff in our London office would welcome your input to help them achieve the fundraising objectives and meet the administrative work that remain crucial to us.

There are many activities you can help with that should provide you with a real sense of satisfaction and enable us to promote our work to a wider audience while also generating much-needed funds.

Fundraising Support
We currently rely heavily on the support of some very generous people who are able and prepared to devote some time each week to help in the office.

If you have an expertise you think you could share – and some time you can devote - please do not hesitate to get in touch with Lois Clarkson in London.

Due to the physical confines of our office (it could never be called 'spacious'), we also welcome support from volunteers who could work to specific projects from home, reporting to Lois - on 020 7600 5654.

Coordinate Community Fundraising
We have a loyal band of followers working tirelessly in their local community to organise events that raise our profile. Book Clubs, jumble sales, church fetes and coffee mornings are just a few examples of EBT volunteers’ events across the country.

We can provide you with literature and promotional posters and t-shirts for any events, and will try to answer any other questions you may have.

In late 2009 we introduced the EBT Network of Speakers, through which volunteers will reach out into their local community to give presentations on our behalf.
