What You Can Do
Wills & Legacies
Please consider remembering the work of the Trust through a gift in your Will. Your legacy could help to improve the lives of hundreds of Nepal’s children.
We take very seriously the responsibility that comes with being named as a beneficiary in a supporter's Will. For that reason, we believe the most important first step (if requested) is to discuss with the Trust's Founder/Director Philip Holmes how your donation might ultimately be utilised.
While leaving a gift to a charity in your Will is a generous act, care should be taken when making such a decision. Family and friends will understandably need to be the first people you consider.
If you do decide to include The Esther Benjamins Trust in your Will, we promise to be good stewards of the donation and to give the appropriate respect to the donor and to the bereaved.
It is imperative that your Will is carefully worded or amended properly to ensure your wishes are observed appropriately.
If you live in the UK and would like some guidance on the options available to you, we recommend the services of Hart Brown Solicitors in Guildford, where former trustee and long-term EBT supporter Shaun Parry-Jones is very happy to advise as a first point of contact.
U.S. supporters can obtain advice on Will writing through the Planned Giving at CAF America.
However you choose to approach your Will, please take professional advice – this page is for your guidance only.
